CORE Advanced Course

The NZRC CORE Advanced Course is a comprehensive training program that combines self-directed learning with face-to-face training and assessment of knowledge and skills. Certification requires a minimum of three weeks of self-directed learning, attending a 8-9-hour face-to-face training session, and demonstrating mastery of the course content.

Our NZRC CORE Advanced Course offers a comprehensive training experience that ensures you are fully prepared to respond to medical emergencies.

Core Immediate-Adult and Child

The NZRC Core Immediate training provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to Adult and Child collapse and manage the early stages of cardiac arrest.

It combines self-directed learning with face-to-face training and assessment of knowledge and skills. Certification requires a minimum of one week of self-directed learning, attending a 6-hour face-to-face training session, and demonstrating mastery of the course content.

With our ACLS training, healthcare professionals can enhance their skills and confidence in the practical skills of resuscitation and the management of collapse and medical emergencies.

  • Face-to-face training is designed to enable a mix of health professionals to work in teams, just as they might in real life.

Core Immediate - Adult only

The NZRC Core Immediate (Adult Only) training provides healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to respond and manage adult collapse and the early stages of cardiac arrest.

Core Skills

CORE Skills is designed for health professionals who need practical and theoretical resuscitation skills. There is no formal assessment, and while learners do not receive a certificate, they will be provided with a Confirmation of Attendance.

CORE Skills offers learners the opportunity to develop practical resuscitation skills through a blend of self-directed learning and face-to-face training. The face-to-face components are adapted from CORE Advanced and tailored to meet the learners' specific needs.

Completion of this learning module  requires a minimum of one week of self-directed learning and attending a 4-hour face-to-face training session,
